Ozzy Osbourne: Cause of death officially revealed.

The heavy metal star passed away on July 22nd, shortly after his last performance with Black Sabbath.

The cause of death of Ozzy Osbourne , who passed away at age 76 on July 22, has been officially confirmed.

According to E! News , the death certificate signed by Ozzy's daughter, Aimee Osbourne , states that the cause of the singer's death was a heart attack and acute myocardial infarction. The report also lists concurrent causes as coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with atomic dysfunction.

Ozzy Osbourne was buried in a private funeral on July 31st. The private funeral took place in a church in Gerrards Cross. Afterwards, Ozzy's body was buried next to the lake at his own mansion in Buckinghamshire, as he had said he wished.

The Sun newspaper , the family placed a wreath, inscribed "Ozzy f***ing Osbourne," on the water's edge. Approximately 110 people close to Ozzy joined his wife Sharon Osbourne and their children Jack, Kelly , and Aimee .

The private funeral took place a day after the funeral procession through the streets of Birmingham, England.
