The wife of the Korn vocalist had a long history of drug abuse

Deven Davis, wife of Jonathan Davis , passed away on August 17th at the age of 39. Two months after the tragedy, the cause of her death was confirmed.

According to TMZ , Deven died after suffering an accidental overdose, a consequence of mixing drugs, including heroin and cocaine.

According to sources close to the couple, the Korn and his wife were going through a turbulent phase in their relationship, leading the frontman to file a court order to keep her away from the family, alleging that Deven was abusing drugs.

The marriage took place in 2004 and together they had two children, Pirate and Zeppelin. Jonathan had filed for divorce in 2016 after finding his wife with a drug dealer passed out on the sofa in their home when he arrived with their children to visit her.

He also revealed that he once found his wife passed out near the bathroom, which contained drugs thrown into the toilet. Deven has been to rehabilitation clinics six times in recent years.
