Emboldened by the overwhelmingly positive response to the release of the "Holy Knight" music video, the São Paulo-based band Castellica continues to stir up history with their powerful heavy/power rock sound, releasing another single and music video, this time for the song "Warriors," which continues the saga of the Soldiers of Christ in the Crusades, now under the moniker of Warriors of God.
Moving away from the classic power metal of their first single, the band firmly embraces the NWOBHM and treats us to a true lesson in traditional heavy metal, giving their own personality to the influences that bands like Iron Maiden and Saxon brought to their music, rescuing and revamping the characteristic elements of the genre, pleasing both old-school metal fans and those who like to always be on the lookout for what's new in the heavy metal scene. As expected, there are memorable riffs, duets and solos, a precise and exciting rhythm section, and striking vocal lines full of feeling.
With its experienced and already established lineup featuring Thiago Colavite (vocals), Lucas and Danilo Colavite (guitar), Marco Dower (bass), and Cláudio Caldeirão (drums), the band continues to prepare its audience for the highly anticipated release of Moment of Glory , its first studio album, scheduled for the first half of 2021.
“Warriors” is now available on all major streaming platforms, and its music video can be viewed below, or by visiting Castellica's YouTube channel.
