The Bangers Open Air festival takes place on May 2nd, 3rd and 4th at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo.
It features a number of Brazilian bands in its lineup, many of which are not very well known to a large part of the public.
With that in mind, Wikimetal has brought together 3 national bands so that the public can get to know them before the shows.

Car Bomb
The band Carro Bomba has been active for 20 years. The group, formed by Rogerio Fernandes (vocals), Marcello Schevano (guitars and backing vocals), Ricardo Schevano (bass) and Biel Astolfi (drums and backing vocals), released their most recent work, Esmigalhando Ao Vivo, in 2024.
The performance will take place on the second day of the festival, and they will bring their sound rooted in 80s hard rock, mixed with metal and thrash.
With a solid discography – including Migalhas (2022), Carcaça (2011) and Nervoso (2008) – the band is participating in Bangers Open Air to promote their latest release.
Perpetual Glory
On the same day as Carro Bomba's performance, Gloria Perpetua will also perform at the festival, showcasing their sound that blends heavy and power metal.
The trio, consisting of Daniel Fuchshuber (bass), Raphael Dantas (vocals) and Bruno Luiz (guitar), is promoting their debut album, The Darkside We Wanna Hide (2024).
The newly released album features collaborations with various artists, including Timo Tolkki and Luis Mariutti .
Valve
Also performing on the 3rd, Válvera has been around since 2010.
Comprised of Glauber Barreto (vocals and guitar), Rodrigo Torres (guitar), Gabriel Prado (bass), and Leandro Peixoto (drums), the band has already released 3 studio albums.
Having already played over 300 shows, they have toured internationally, performing in countries such as Germany, France, and Italy.
