Carrie Underwood , the famous country singer, performed a version of "Mama, I'm Coming Home," a classic by Ozzy Osbourne.

The performance took place during her appearance on The Howard Stern Show last Wednesday, the 3rd. Speaking about her choice, she commented: "I've always been an Ozzy fan and 'Mama, I'm Coming Home' is one of my favorite songs."

“I always thought it sounded a lot like a country song and I’ve wanted to do a cover of it for a long time. This was a really fun opportunity for me to finally make that happen. I hope we made Ozzy proud and I hope he likes it.”

Underwood is a big rock fan, having sung with Guns N' Roses several times. On the show, she also talked a bit about her friendship with Axl Rose.
