Lucifer is preparing for the release of their fourth album with another single. This time, the group led by vocalist Johanna Sadonis released the bloody music video for "Crucifix (I Burn For You)," part of the album Lucifer IV .
The new video follows the events of "Bring Me His Head" and maintains the vintage aesthetic in both visuals and sound. In the previous video, the band plays at a party before a bloody sabotage, in the best Carrie . Now, Johanna wanders through the city without an apparent destination.
The new music video has an incredible production team. Filmed in a single take with a 1970s-style camera, with cinematography by Crille Forsberg and direction by Amir Chamdin.
“It was a real honor to work with them, especially considering the amazing portfolios they have. They’ve literally worked with everyone from The Hellacopters to Adele, from Ghost to Pharrell Williams. Very noteworthy for me personally was Crille filming David Bowie’s last video, “Lazarus,” which shook me to my bones. Well, and now they’ve worked with Lucifer,” commented the vocalist.
Formed by musicians from various European countries in 2014, the heavy rock and metal band features Nicke Andersson , former vocalist of The Hellacopters , on drums, Martin Nordin and Linus Björklund on guitar, and Harald Göthblad on bass.
The band's fourth album will be released on October 29th by Century Media. See the cover art and full tracklist after the music videos.
