Carnifex also released a cover of Nine Inch Nails
Carnifex just released the EP Bury Me in Blasphemy , featuring covers of Slipknot and Nine Inch Nails . The chosen songs were "The Heretic Anthem" and "Head Like a Hole".
The version of “The Heretic Anthem” wasn't too far from Slipknot. The band kept Sid Wilson's intro, Joey Jordison's drumming style, and the guitar tone. Carnifex vocalist Scott Lewis delivers a deeper, purely guttural vocal.
"Head Like a Hole," however, sounds quite different. They've transformed the Nails classic into a purely deathcore track.
