Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana fainted during a performance in Clarkston, Michigan, in the United States, last Tuesday, the 5th. The musician had to be taken to the hospital, where he is under observation.
"Thank you all for your precious prayers. Cindy [ Blackman , his wife ] and I are fine, just taking it easy. I forgot to eat and drink water, so I became dehydrated and passed out," he stated on social media.
The first news about what happened came from the public who saw the guitarist being carried away on a stretcher to the hospital. According to the musician's team, the show scheduled for this Wednesday, the 6th, with the group Earth, Wind & Fire will be postponed.
In 2021, Carlos Santana underwent an unscheduled "cardiac procedure" that impacted his performances in Las Vegas. He had to cancel eight shows of his residency at the House of Blues. However, there is no indication that this scare had anything to do with his heart.
