Butcher Babies vocalist Carla Harvey surprised fans by announcing her new musical project, The Violent Hour . The news, released on social media on September 21st, generated great anticipation among the artist's followers.

However, in her post, Carla expressed her excitement about the new project, stating that she had dedicated the last six months to creating The Violent Hour (via Blabbermouth ):

 "It's coming. I've poured my heart and soul into my new project, The Violent Hour, for the past 6 months. I can't wait for you to hear it. Stay tuned for updates. This is a slower process than I'd like… but… I'm excited!"

The singer also revealed, however, that renowned producer Jay Ruston , known for his work with bands such as Anthrax, Steel Panther , and Uriah Heep , was involved in some of the early recording sessions.

Butcher Babies is leaving and a new beginning begins

Carla's departure from Butcher Babies was announced in July of this year. On the other hand, despite the separation, both the band and the singer expressed gratitude for the journey they shared since 2010 and wished each other success in their new projects.

There aren't many details yet about the sound of The Violent Hour. More information will be released on the singer's social media and on her new project's social media.
