Cannibal Corpse releases 15th studio album featuring new guitarist; listen here.

This work marks the debut of Erik Rutan, who joined the band to replace Pat O'Brien

Cannibal Corpse released their 15th studio album, Violence Unimagined, this Friday, the 16th, marking the debut of guitarist Erik Rutan , who joined the band to replace Pat O'Brien , who played in the band between 1997 and 2020. In 2018, Pat got into trouble with the police and was even arrested.

Speaking about the album, drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz said that the work was the most complex the group had ever done. “We spent a little less time writing than we normally do. Normally we dedicate about six months or more to writing and preparing, and then we're in the studio. This time, we took a little less time – I think it was about four, four and a half, five months – so it was almost a little more compact, which makes it even more complicated.”

Violence Unimagined is now available on streaming platforms and can be listened to in the player below, via Spotify.
