The band comments on the milestone
Cannibal Corpse received a plaque for reaching the milestone of 2 million albums sold, shortly before a show in California. The band commented on the honor:
“I think this says a lot about Death Metal fans. It proves what we’ve always said, that Death Metal is far from dead. We thought it was crazy when we passed the 1 million mark, and now it’s over two million,” said vocalist George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher.
Guitarist Rob Barrett thanked the fans: “This is a great milestone. We worked very hard to achieve this. We think our fans are the best and we really appreciate it. Thank you so much!”
Currently, Cannibal Corpse is promoting their 13th studio album, "A Skeletal Domain".
