After a painful and difficult year in 2020, the Boston-based band Cruel Miracle , formed by Sir-Ken Celli , Charlie Black , and Joe Cook , decided to release an atypical EP, titled Camaraderie . The idea for this project came about when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The trio of friends found a way to escape the pandemic chaos by traveling the roads of Massachusetts, following warning protocols, during the lockdown in early 2020. On these trips, the friends began recording their adventures and writing songs to serve as a soundtrack for this project.

Within the limitations of the pandemic, the group kept busy creating new art during one of the worst years humanity has ever faced, which was a great way to keep a sane mind in the midst of a hurricane. Thus emerged Camaraderie , a conceptual work based on stories of motorcycle travel and the soundscapes that this lifestyle encompassed.

The band's new EP was released at Christmas, with the opening track "Revving" revealed on New Year's Eve. The tracks feature real motorcycle sounds from their journeys, complemented by an arsenal of other instruments such as harmonica, Wurlitzer electronic piano, congas, and Hammond organ, in a style never before heard in the band's sound.
