Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine have announced The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour , which will visit several cities in the United States and England. The tour celebrates the anniversary of iconic albums from both bands.

The opening acts will be August Burns Red , Sylosis , and Bleed From Within . Dates in South America, and consequently in Brazil, have not yet been announced.

For Trivium , the tour will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the album Ascendancy , the band's second studio album. The album features classics such as "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" and "A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation," songs that frequently appear in the band's shows, but now they will be played with the album in its entirety.

Bullet For My Valentine will be celebrating the two-decade anniversary of the album The Poison , the band's debut album that remains alive in the memory of fans to this day.

The album was a complete success overall, but especially with "Tears Don't Fall," which to this day remains the band's most listened-to song and a major metalcore anthem.

Bullet For My Valentine's debut album will be part of the celebration on this new tour.
