The track is the third single from the group's new album
Bullet For My Valentine is preparing for the release of their new studio album, Gravity , scheduled for June 29th. As part of the preparations, they released the music video for the single "Letting You Go".
Directed by Stuart Birchall, the video brings a dark and heavy tone to the song, and according to frontman Matt Tuck , "it was very challenging to compose this track." He says that the single was the most experimental he has ever written in terms of lyrics and melodies. "I wanted a track that would set us apart from other bands in the genre, I wanted something different."
“Letting You Go” is the third single from the new album, the first two being “Over It” – which already has a music video – and “Piece Of Me” .
Gravity is the successor to Venom (2015) and will mark the debut of drummer Jason Bowld, who replaced Michael “Moose” Thomas in 2016. The album is now available for pre-order by clicking here .
