A new era for Bullet For My Valentine is coming, and vocalist Matt Tuck has given some details about the band's new album.
In an interview with RockSound , Tuck said that the band's new album, which they planned to write and record this year, has a very brutal, very technical sound and is a stark contrast to the band's last album, Gravity , from 2018.
“It’s very heavy, it’s very technical. For Bullet fans who like this side of the band, it’s really cool and very exciting. It’s a good feeling,” says Tuck.
Regarding the reason why this album sounds heavier than the last one, the vocalist explains, “I don’t know why. You just have to go with what you want – as a band, as a musician, as a songwriter, you just have to go with what’s floating in your boat, and this time the heavy stuff is coming in droves.”
The artist details the tracks, “The riffs are crushing. There’s probably 60% aggressive vocals, 40% clean, a ratio we’ve never dealt with before.”
