Speaking about the album, vocalist and guitarist Matt Tuck revealed that it marks a different phase for the group: “I’ve been thinking a lot about the word ‘contemporary,’ and I feel like this is a contemporary album. It’s not an old-school thing.”
“This album isn’t so metal, but we want to connect with a wider audience so we can win over new fans while introducing new things to older fans,” guitarist Michael Paget in an exclusive interview with Wikimetal .
Gravity follows Venom (2015) and marks the debut of drummer Jason Bowld , who replaced Michael “Moose” Thomas in 2016. Listen to the album in its entirety below.
