Last weekend, Bullet For My Valentine performed at the Download Pilot in the UK. The band took the opportunity to give the first live performance of their new single “ Knives ”.
Some videos filmed from the audience's perspective have been published and can be viewed at the end of this article. The live version of the song has the same intensity as the studio version and is accompanied by a play of blue and red lights.
Regarding “Knives,” which was chosen as the lead single to promote the new album Bullet For My Valentine , vocalist Matt Truck said: “We wanted to come back with a song that we consider kind of a punch in the gut. It speaks for itself, so I don’t know what to say. I think a lot of people were caught off guard, which is what we wanted. That’s what a punch in the gut is. It’s heavy, aggressive, gnarly. That’s what it is. I love [the song]. The whole album is like that.”
