The band posted an announcement on social media.
Bullet For My Valentine announced this week the departure of their bassist Jay James from the band. Check out the statement, posted on the band's official Facebook page:
"It is with great sadness that we announce that bassist Jay James is no longer in the band. Jay was a part of Bullet For My Valentine for over 12 years and was always a part of our lives, and we will miss him as much as we know you will. We want to wish him all the success in whatever he decides to do, and we will always be grateful for his contribution and the sacrifices he made for this band."
We'll announce a replacement for Jay when the time is right, but until then we'll be busy and focused on recording our new album and making sure it's the best album we've ever made.
2015 is already proving to be a great year for us, with many incredible things happening behind the scenes that we will share with you as soon as we can.”
Bullet For My Valentine is currently in the studio working on recording their fifth album.
