Founded in 2002 by former members of the bands Ácido and Skylord, Brutallian emerged with the aim of blending influences from Thrash Metal with classic Heavy Metal. Since then, the band has established itself as one of the great names in heavy rock from Maranhão, representing the state in various performances throughout the North-Northeast region, as well as in other cities in the state, having played with numerous major national and international bands. The performances became a standard of quality due to the energy and power unleashed on stage, which, combined with the catchy choruses in the songs, made the audience sing along loudly to the band's music, turning songs like Blow On The Eye , Primal Sigh , Black Karma , and Hell Is Coming With Me into true anthems remembered to this day. |
The lineup remained intact until 2010; after that, there was a hiatus without playing, and upon their return in 2013, the first separation occurred when the great drummer Mauro de Aquino left the band. The band then recruited Daniel Mamede (ex-Furia Louca) who remained with the band until June 2014, even finishing the drum recordings, until Rayan de Oliveira took over on drums.
At the end of 2014, with yet another split, original bassist Carlos Jacer left the band for personal reasons, and the experienced Fabio Matta, already known in the Londrina music scene, was recruited.
The band released their highly anticipated debut, 'Blow on the Eye', on digital platforms via WikiMetal Music.
