Bruno Sutter became known for his career as a comedian, but he soon managed to combine his love of music with his talent for satire in Massacration – without sacrificing technical skill and quality.
Despite years of dedication to comedic metal projects, in the style of Spinal Tap , Sutter doesn't mess around when it comes to the quality of his studio material. Also a solo musician, far removed from the Detonator , he discussed the importance of Massacration's debut album in an interview on The Wikimetal Happy Hour .
“Let me tell you, I’m not Detonator, I only work for Detonator and Massacration. I can tell you for sure that, after the test of time, if you listen to [ Gates of Metal Fried Chicken of Death ], I say without a doubt: it’s one of the best Brazilian heavy metal albums ever made. It’s an incredible, fun album, you laugh,” he analyzed. “The songs are incredible, really cool, it’s a very forward-thinking, exciting album.”
