At 74 years old, Bruce Springsteen became the latest billionaire on the Forbes , accumulating a fortune of $1.1 billion (the equivalent of approximately 6 billion reais).

On its official website, Forbes Brazil points to two main factors that contributed to Springsteen reaching his first billion. One is the sale of the singer's music catalog to Sony in 2021 for US$500 million (R$2.7 billion). The other is the artist's world tour, which in 2023 sold more than 1.6 million tickets, generating US$380 million (R$2 billion) in revenue.

With 21 studio albums and a 55-year career, Bruce Springsteen has sold over 140 million records worldwide, won 20 Grammys, 1 Oscar, 2 Golden Globes, and 1 Tony Award (via Forbes Brazil ). In 2023, he received the highest honor for artists in the United States, the National Medal of Arts .
