The film was inspired by the story of young Sarfraz Manzoor, a big Bruce Springsteen fan.

The first trailer for "Blinded by the Light" Bruce Springsteen 's music in England in 1987 and finally finds meaning and direction in his life.

Inspired by Sarfraz Manzoor 's Greetings from Bury Park , the screenplay was written by Paul Mayeda Berges and director Gurinder Chadha , in addition to Manzoor himself.

The cast includes Viveik Kalra , who plays the main character, and Dean-Charles Chapman , who played King Tommen Baratheon in Game of Thrones , as well as teenage actors making their film debut.

Greetings from Bury Park was based on the experiences of Manzoor, who, in addition to being a journalist for some of the leading English newspapers such as The Guardian , also directed documentaries for Channel 4 .

The Music of My Life premieres on September 19th, a month after its commercial release in the United States. Watch the trailer below.
