The Boss , Bruce Springsteen , has a new single out. “Ghost” will be on his new album, Letter To You , which arrives on October 23rd.
“'Ghost' is about the beauty and happiness of being in a band and the pain of losing each other to illness and time,” says Bruce about the track. “Ghost tries to speak to the spirit of music itself, something none of us possess but can only discover and share together. And in the E Street Band, that resides in our collective soul, spread throughout the heart.”
The track follows the album's title track, "Letter To You," and will be the first with the E Street Band since High Hopes , and the successor to Western Stars , Bruce's solo album released last year.
