The Boss , Bruce Springsteen , is in trouble: after being caught driving under the influence on November 14th in New Jersey (via the New York Post ) , the artist is facing the consequences of the incident.
According to TMZ , the artist was accused of reckless driving and drinking in an enclosed space, and will have to appear in court in a few weeks.
As a result, Jeep has decided to temporarily withdraw the new commercial starring Springsteen , which premiered last Sunday during the Super Bowl and marked the artist's first commercial appearance.
Jeep spokesperson told Rolling Stone .
“But it’s also right that we pause our Big Game until the real facts can be established. Its message of community and unity is as relevant as ever. As is the message that drinking and driving can never be tolerated.”
