Bruce Dickinson Iron Maiden 's tour schedule , but before taking the stage, the vocalist visited a brewery in Curitiba that features Trooper Brasil IPA, a beer branded with the band's logo, among its labels.
According to a statement from the establishment itself, Bruce visited the Bodebrown brewery to sample the new beer flavor, called Aces High, which will be the second release in partnership with Iron Maiden. The product is expected to be available for purchase starting in September of this year.
According to the Tribuna do Paraná , the vocalist's visit was practically a surprise, with the owners of Bodebrown being notified just a few hours before Dickinson's arrival. The brewery is one of the few in the world to have a beer licensed by Iron Maiden.
On its social media, Bodebrown published more details about the visit and revealed that the Iron Maiden show at Pedreira Paulo Leminski, in Curitiba, will exclusively serve craft beers – an unprecedented event in the band's history. The available flavors will be Trooper Brasil IPA, Trooper Premium British imported and brewed in England, and a third flavor created especially for the event by Bodebrown – Curitiba Event Beer. This last one will only be available at the show and at the Bodebrown brewery this weekend – it will not be available on the market.
“We tasted two options and Bruce chose the one he liked best. It’s a Hoppy Ale style beer, with 4.7% alcohol, made with American Mosaic and Citra hops,” says Samuel Cavalcanti , CEO of Bodebrown. “It’s a light beer with Brazilian characteristics, which pleased Bruce: it has notes of tropical fruits, a marked smoothness, and is well carbonated.”
“This time we had the honor of welcoming him to the brewery, which proves his and the band's connection with Bodebrown,” Samuel celebrates. “He has great affection for Bodebrown and it's an honor to create beers in collaboration with this rock icon.”
