Lead singer says there's no date set for new CD
Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson commented on the Maiden England Tour and the possibility of a new album from the band.
Dickinson confirmed that the band will release a new album, but contradicted the release date he had previously stipulated. In April, the vocalist had said that the CD would be released in 2014. Now, Dickinson denied the date and said he was uncertain: “We will have a CD, but I don’t know when. Maybe in 2015.”
Dickinson also said he was considering a solo album: “People have been asking me for it. I’ll think about it, why not? ”
The vocalist commented on Iron Maiden's current tour, the "Maiden England Tour": "I can say that it's not the same as the 1988 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Tour. The technology, production, and lighting have evolved a lot. It has allowed us to show everything in a different way again. You could say that this show is a historical perspective of Iron Maiden."
Iron Maiden's England tour will pass through Brazil in September, in São Paulo on the 20th and in Curitiba on the 24th. Iron Maiden will also play at Rock In Rio on the 22nd.
