Dickinson talks about his metabolism
In an interview with Metal Hammer this month, Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson spoke about his recent cancer treatment. Dickinson detailed the procedures and said he found it fascinating: "Basically, I became my own scientific experiment .
The vocalist says: “You end up with the metabolism of a little bird during treatment, because you're cooking from the inside out. But your body is also trying to heal itself quickly, and ends up exhausted. I think this is one of the reasons why you lose weight. It's basically because your body is struggling and suddenly everything goes back to normal.”
Iron Maiden will release their new album, 'The Book Of Souls', on September 4th. The first single, Speed Of Light , was released last week.
