Bruce Dickinson has already kicked off his tour performing the Concerto For Group And Orchestra , celebrating the music of Jon Lord and Deep Purple , and also adding some of his solo songs.

The Iron Maiden vocalist is currently performing in Europe, away from his bandmates, but accompanied by John O'Hara ( Jethro Tull ) on keyboards, Tanya O'Callaghan ( Whitesnake ) on bass, Kaitner Z Doka (Jon Lord, Ian Paice ) on guitar, Bernard Welz (Jon Lord, Don Airey ) on drums and Mario Argandonia ( Scorpions ) on percussion.

The Concerto For Group And Orchestra originated as a live album by Deep Purple, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra , conducted by Malcolm Arnold and recorded at London's Royal Albert Hall in September 1969. The first performance was a success, and Deep Purple took the Concerto on tour a few years later.

Videos released online show footage from the March 18th performance in Bulgaria. The concert with Bruce Dickinson on vocals will also be held in Brazil, in the cities of São Paulo, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and Porto Alegre. More information is available on our website.
