Bruce Dickinson , legendary vocalist of Iron Maiden , is touring the UK with his Spoken -Word Tour . During one performance, the singer delivered a surprising a cappella version of "Revelations".

Dickinson's shows are divided into two parts: in the first, the musician shares his views on the world and his own journey, often singing excerpts from songs in his extensive catalog to illustrate a point. In the second act, the audience can ask questions. In one of these performances, in 2020, he presented an impressive a cappella version of "Tears Of The Dragon" .

In a video published this Sunday, the 8th, Dickinson sings the first verse of "Revelations," from the album Piece of Mind . This excerpt, before the actual lyrics of the track begin, is also a Catholic hymn by G.K. Chesterton sung in some churches.

Without any accompaniment, the nearly one-minute excerpt gained a smoother melody and showcases the full range and vocal control of the Iron Maiden frontman. Watch below.
