The musician revealed the most bizarre outfit he has ever worn
In a recent interview with Finland's Radio Rock, Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson talked about the outfits he's worn to the band's shows and revealed which one was the most bizarre.
The interviewer asked if he felt ashamed of the outfits he chose for his shows. In response, he said: “Shame isn’t the word I would use, because shame makes it seem like you’re not proud of it. I’m proud of having been ridiculous.”

“I passed it on to the woman who designed it: 'Imagine a planet occupied by giant space lizards. Then we take a gigantic green space lizard, rip off its skin and make a pair of pants. And the top part of the outfit is a kind of space D'Artagnan thing, a shirt with puffy sleeves like we were musketeers from the Louis XIV era. And on top of all that, a jacket with a giant pulsating heart and bright colors' (…) I think she thought I was completely crazy. Maybe I was.”
Bruce was also asked about this new phase of his life, now cured of cancer. He recounted the moment the doctor told him the cancer was completely gone. “It’s gone? Really gone? I didn’t know what to do after that.”
