Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover performed last Friday, November 5th, in Györ, Hungary. The show was a tribute to the legendary Deep Purple keyboardist, Jon Lord , who passed away in 2012.
Among the songs performed were some of Jon Lord's most iconic anthems, such as "Perfect Strangers," "Hush," and "When a Blind Man Cries," among others.
Guitarist Kaitner Z Doka , drummer Bernhard Welz , and the Győr Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Paul Mann , a close friend of Jon Lord, completed the tribute.
This is not the first time Bruce has paid this kind of tribute to Jon Lord. A self-proclaimed Deep Purple fan, the Iron Maiden vocalist had already participated in similar events in 2014 and 2019 .
