Recently, Bruce Dickinson gave a new update on his highly anticipated upcoming solo album, which began being written about seven years ago and faced some delays during the process.
During an appearance on the show Break It Down With Pete A Turner , the Iron Maiden explained the reasons for postponing the project, but assured that the result has sounded "interesting" currently.
“It should have been done seven or eight years ago – we had a lot written – but I had throat cancer and missed that year. Then there was the year of doing Maiden stuff, getting back together. And then came another year and another year, until the pandemic hit. But we're going to record the drums and the tracks and everything else in June. We have demos running. We are – I hope – in very good shape. It's sounding quite interesting,” he says.
Bruce Dickinson's new solo album is made with his longtime collaborator, Roy "Z" Ramirez , who has previously worked with Rob Halford and Sebastian Bach .
