Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson has revealed more details about his new solo album , which is expected to be released in 2027. This will be the successor to The Mandrake Project , released in March 2024 and the artist's most recent work.

In an interview with Metal Hammer , Bruce commented that, by the end of April, he had already recorded 18 demos for the new album. The Briton also said he was excited about the project, and that his record label had the same reaction upon hearing the material, which, according to him, has tracks that are "extremely heavy and capable of crushing bones" as well as "heartwarming moments."

“I have about 18 demos recorded in April. I’m going to make an album, but not for next year. I’ll be busy next year with other things, Maiden stuff, which is great, but then the album will come out in 2027. I’m very excited about these tracks. I played the demos for some people at the record label and everyone was like, ‘Wow’,” he said [transcription via Loudersound ].

According to Bruce Dickinson , his new album received praise from Steve Harris . He said the bassist was impressed with what he heard and told him it was the "best thing the vocalist had ever done."

“I was showing the demos to my team, to the management staff, because I have them all on a little tablet. I didn't realize Steve was doing physical therapy in the next room. And he came out and said, 'Is this new material yours? It's the best thing you've ever done. The best I've ever heard from you!' And I replied, 'Thank you very much, boss,'” he concluded.
