Bruce Dickinson is working on a solo album

Half of the album is already written

In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson said he is working on a new solo album. According to the musician, half of the album, which will be his seventh solo work, is already written.

“I’m looking forward to getting into rehearsals (with Iron Maiden). I might even end up sneaking away to write more solo material, because I already have half an album in the works (…). It would be a good way to warm up my voice for the upcoming Maiden rehearsals ,” said the vocalist.

Dickinson also said that his composition "If Eternity Should Fail" from Iron Maiden's last album was written as a song for his solo work.

Iron Maiden's new tour will pass through Brazil in 2016, on March 17th in Rio de Janeiro, March 19th in Belo Horizonte, March 22nd in Brasilia, March 24th in Fortaleza and March 26th in São Paulo. Tickets can already be purchased on the Livepass .
