In this week's Wikimetal poll, Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden was voted the best vocalist, with 46% of the votes. Ronnie James Dio came in second (41%) and Rob Halford in a distant third with 8%.
Bruce Dickinson never had singing lessons, but says he studied a lot on his own. The vocalist cites Arthur Brown, Peter Hammill, Ian Anderson, and Ian Gillan as his main influences.
