Bruce Dickinson , vocalist of Iron Maiden , revealed that he is already preparing for the follow-up album to The Mandrake Project , released last Friday, the 1st. In an interview with Loudwire Nights , Dickinson said that he will return to composing soon.

“I’m going to start writing songs in two or three weeks, hopefully, with Roy Z again, because we have more things we want to do. So, yes, there will be another album, because we already have 10 or 12 different ideas,” said the musician.

The news of a new album will likely delight many of the singer's fans, who have been without his solo career for almost 20 years, since his last release before The Mandrake Project was Tyranny of Souls in 2005.

In the same interview, Bruce spoke about his schedule, which this year will include commitments not only with Iron Maiden, but also with his solo band.

“This year is going to be crazy, which is no problem for me […] As long as my legs remain attached to the rest of my body, I’ll be fine. I have basically 90 shows this year, a little less between the solo tour, which runs until July 21st, and the Maiden tour, which starts in early September and goes until two weeks before Christmas. So it’s a full tour.”.

The vocalist said there will be a three-week break in the middle, but that it will be a period where he will do absolutely nothing. Despite the intensity, Dickinson described the tour period as "exciting".

The Future Past Tour will be coming to Brazil, with two shows at Allianz Parque in São Paulo on December 6th and 7th.
