Bruce Dickinson 's participation Heavy Metal Truants 2021 circuit was a success! With the presence of the Iron Maiden , the charity cycling, running and walking marathon for heavy metal lovers surpassed this year's donation goal.
According to Blabbermouth , even with an audacious goal of raising £1 million, equivalent to R$7.1 million at the current exchange rate, the remote marathon managed to surpass its target, marking more than 40,000 km covered, a distance greater than the circumference of the Earth. For 12 days, people from anywhere in the country could complete their own circuit for the final tally.

“Metal as a community has a long history of doing very good things. And the reason people don’t know much about it is because we’re too busy just doing those things,” Dickinson commented in a video for the campaign.
Held annually to raise funds for four children's charities in the United Kingdom, the foundation was created by Rod Smallwood , Iron Maiden , and Alexander Milas , former editor-in-chief of Metal Hammer .
