Taking a break from his solo tours and Iron Maiden , Bruce Dickinson has been using his free time to dedicate himself to his favorite sport, fencing.

The vocalist was spotted on Sunday, January 19th, by fans who captured some moments of the singer's preparation and fight during the European Veterans Fencing Circuit, which took place in Thumesnil, France.

The singer's performance was satisfactory, having a victory in the opening round against the Dane Jeiner Simon , but soon after Bruce was defeated by three-time Olympic champion Pascal Jolyot .

The singer finished in 13th place in the competition, which featured 31 competitors from across Europe. "Not bad for someone who didn't get much training in 2024 due to tour commitments," the post caption read.

Bruce is already known for his fencing skills here in Brazil. On his last visit to Curitiba, the vocalist dueled against two Brazilians at an event to promote fencing in the country. On that occasion, the singer was defeated by the Brazilians.

Bruce Dickinson has a busy year ahead with the Run for Your Lives with Iron Maiden scheduled to begin this summer. Later this year, the vocalist will also return to Brazil for The Town with his solo project .
