The band shared the news on Facebook
Last June 26th, the Israeli heavy metal band Chase The Ace shared a post on their Facebook page revealing a pleasant surprise: the band's benefit concert, funded for cancer treatment research, was discovered by Bruce Dickinson, who covered all the expenses.
Check out the text of the publication:
"That moment when you find out that Bruce Dickinson has heard of your band and is covering the costs of your show at the Cancer Research Fundraiser Night in Bristol on April 23rd."
Nicko says Bruce's battle with cancer helped him stay sober.
Dickinson had tongue cancer and underwent treatment early last year. The vocalist received the news that he is free of the disease in May.
