Last Monday, it was announced that Bruce Dickinson had to postpone the last two dates of his UK recitation tour after a case of COVID-19 was confirmed in someone who frequents his home directly.
Iron Maiden 's social media states that Bruce himself tested negative for the new coronavirus, but needs to self-isolate for 10 days according to British government rules. “[Bruce] is very upset that he won't be able to see you all at these last two shows, but the safety and well-being of the fans and the team working with him and at the venue obviously comes first,” the statement says.
Bruce Dickinson's team then confirmed that the shows will be rescheduled, although they are not yet certain about the new dates. “Please hold onto your tickets for now and be patient with us as we work with our promoter to reschedule the dates. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these uncertain times of global pandemic. We will post all news and updates on ironmaiden.com as soon as we have a solution.”
