Bruce Dickinson , according to the website Bravewords Roy-Z 's sudden departure from his solo tour. "Unfortunately, guitarist and producer Roy-Z will no longer be joining the band on this tour due to some personal commitments," the singer explained.
“He will remain in Los Angeles working on remixing and remastering the catalog. We all know the show must go on, and this project is very important to everyone involved. I am very saddened by the situation, because Roy-Z participated in all the organization and planning of most of the album and the band's tour,” Dickinson added.
The two new members, who will join forces with Dave Moreno , Mistheria and Tanya O'Callaghan , are Swedish guitarist, composer and producer Philip Naslund and Swiss guitarist Chris Declercq , who incidentally played on the single "Rain On The Graves".
According to Dickinson: "I'm very excited about what Philip and Chris together will add to the show, and now my only ambition is to win a little piece of the audience's heart every night."
The first show of The Mandrake Project will take place at The Observatory, Orange County, on April 15th. “We’re not afraid to grow and learn in front of an audience,” explains Dickinson. “So this show will be like a rehearsal; it’s exciting to think what these musicians can do, and they’ll certainly do their best.”
