It will be the first time the brothers are together

Drummer brothers Carmine and Vinny Appice have announced they are recording their first album together, which is scheduled for release in October. The brothers released the following statement:

“After decades in this crazy music industry, we sat down for the first time and recorded a studio album together. The album will have new songs and classic tracks from our history. This is very exciting for us because we will have, as Ringo said, 'a little help from our friends'. With that in mind, it will be an explosive-sounding album, with hellish guitars and on top of everything great vocals and melodies that will thrill everyone. A first in our lives, brothers!”

Some of the guests already announced include Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot), Craig Goldy (Dio), and members of Last In Line.
