vocalist Rob Halford revealed that he dreamed of performing alongside Black Sabbath, Motörhead , and Iron Maiden , creating a kind of British Big Four, equivalent to what Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth did in the US.

In an interview, Halford said: “My dream has always been to have a British Big Four, without making it something depressing. I dreamed of Black Sabbath and Motörhead and Priest and Maiden. I wanted to do something with them in the UK.”

He also acknowledged that the death of Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead and the retirement of Black Sabbath made the dream seem more distant. "Sad, but two-quarters of it is already gone. Music lives forever, though. That's the main thing."
