British Lion , a project by Iron Maiden Steve Harris , released the music video for the track "Land Of The Perfect People" this Friday, the 14th.
Featuring scenes of the band on tour, the video also portrays the plight of children and teenagers neglected by society and the state within the foster care and adoption system, facing emotional problems and unable to find a true home, sometimes passing through several different homes. “I don’t care if you’re hungry / We don’t care / This is the land of perfect people / You don’t belong here,” the lyrics say.
The song is part of the album The Burning , his second album, released in January 2020, featuring Richard Taylor on vocals, David Hawkins and Grahame Leslie on guitars, and Simon Dawson on keyboards and drums. Harris himself produced the album.
