2020 was a disturbing year for everyone, but especially unusual for Oliver Sykes . After spending time living with monks , settling in Brazil, and even getting his CPF ( ), the Bring Me The Horizon seems to be working on the sequel to POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR .

Containing 9 tracks and featuring collaborations with heavyweights like Amy Lee ( Evanescence ), YUNGBLUD , BABYMETAL , and Nova Twins , the concept album tells the story of a society living in an apocalyptic period, making direct reference to the pandemic, especially in the lead single " Parasite Eve ".

Recently, Oli Sykes used the official BMTH TikTok account to give a preview of what's to come in the sequel to the POST HUMAN . In a short video, the musician asks, "Do you think this is too crazy?" and then shares a snippet of what appears to be a new song with death metal influences, especially in the guttural and aggressive vocals. In April, Sykes said in an interview with 93xRadio that he has plans for four albums in the POST HUMAN (transcription via Kerrang! ). “The idea is to be as creative as possible,” he explained. “We have these four albums in mind, obviously with Post Human: Survival Horror being the first, where each one can be so different that whatever we want to do, we can do it.”

“And there will be an album for everyone,” he added. “If we want to do something more danceable, electronic, we have an album reserved for that; if we want to do something kind of old-school rock, we have an album for that; if we want to do something more emo, more pop… we still have to figure out how each album will sound, but we’ve done so much throughout our career that we have our sound, but we can go anywhere with it.”
