“Mother Tongue” will be on Bring Me The Horizon’s new album, Amo , which will be released on January 25th.
Bring Me The Horizon has released a new song from their upcoming album Amo . “Mother Tongue” follows the previously released tracks “Mantra” , “Wonderful Life” , and “Medicine” .
Interestingly, the song includes a phrase in Portuguese: “So don't say you love me/ Fala amo”. The word “amo” is the name of the album, chosen because the vocalist Oli Sykes is Brazilian. He said he likes that the word means “to love” in Portuguese and sounds like the word “ammo” in English.
Oli Sykes spoke about this new album and how it deals with various emotions. “ Amo is a love album that explores all aspects of this powerful emotion. It deals with the good, the bad, and the ugly. As a result, we’ve created an album that is more experimental, more varied, stranger, and more wonderful than anything we’ve done before.” The new album will be released on January 25th.
