Bring Me The Horizon released their new song “Parasite Eve” today. The track came with a music video which can be seen below.

Vocalist Oli Sykes commented that the song "Parasite Eve" has been in development since last year, originally inspired by a Japanese super-insect that withstands heat and is a result of climate change. However, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the band decided to hold off on its release, believing the timing wasn't right.

“We held off on the release because we felt the theme was too close to what was happening,” Sykes confessed.

“But after a while we realized that maybe this is a reason to launch now more than ever. The world needs to remember the things that are happening and the impacts. We can't simply forget and think that life will go back to normal. Because it won't! We need to change in many ways.”

Oli Sykes also confirmed the ambitious project of releasing 4 albums in 2021, all under the title Post Human . "Each album will have a different tone with its own sound and mood. It's something we've never done before."
