Bring Me The Horizon announced on their social media the release of the single "Lost" on May 4th.

The announcement was made through a video showing vocalist Oli Sykes lying on the floor, surrounded by pills and under a greenish puddle simulating his own vomit.

Along with the video, a 26-second excerpt of the song was released, where Oli sings (free translation): “Someone tell me / Why am I like this? / These stupid medications aren't doing anything / What the hell is wrong with me? / I guess there's no cure / I'm terribly lost.”.

From the released excerpt of "Lost," it's clear that Bring Me The Horizon continues to nod to emo and pop punk, as had already been evident in their previous singles, "sTraNgeRs" and "DiE4u .

It's possible that the three tracks will be part Post Human series , which began with Post Human: Survivor Horror , released in 2020. The band continues to work with producer Zakk Cervini , who was responsible for the first part of the project.
