Brian May, legendary Queen , is recovering from leg surgery performed last Monday, the 2nd. According to a post on his official Instagram, he underwent the procedure to alleviate pain he had been experiencing in his Achilles tendon for months.
The musician explained that doctors had to make a small incision in his left calf and that he is already recovering. "Although the adrenaline helped to lessen the pain, my performance was severely hampered," he said about his US tour.
May says he will need to rest for a while and will use the end of the year to recover so he can resume Queen's tour with Adam Lambert in January. See the guitarist's post below.
