Brian May , the Queen , posted an image on his Instagram account joking about the Flat Earth theory.
The joke has an awareness-raising aspect, after all, there are quite a few people who identify as Flat Earthers. According to Datafolha, there are 11 million Brazilians who believe in the Flat Earth theory.
Brian May's post features an image of the planets in our solar system. In it, all the celestial bodies are round, except for Earth, which has a square and flattened shape.
In the post, May comments: “Isn’t nature wonderful?! Please, someone tell me who created this work of art!”
Brian May, a physics graduate from Imperial College London, had to interrupt his doctoral studies due to Queen's success in 1974. In 2006, May managed to complete his doctorate.
In 2019, Queen's guitarist released the music video for his song "New Horizons." According to May, the song is a tribute to New Horizons . Brian May occasionally collaborates with the American Space Agency.
